Just days after being released a flaw in the 7D which Canon labled “Residule Image Phenomenon” was found. Under certain circumstances such as images captured by continous shooting previous frames would appear overlayed on the proceeding image. No worries though, thanks to Canon’s fast actions firmware version 1.1.0 corrects the problem leaving your DSLR ready to shoot.
If you have a 7D you definitely want to get the update even if you haven’t noticed the phenomenon. The firmware update is a little lengthy but a simple step by step on how to update can be found on Canon’s website here
